Back from Youmacon 2011

Hey everyone. I hope all is well. Well another Youmacon has come and gone. I must say I had a better time this year than I did last year. My friends and I left Thursday afternoon and got there at a really good time. Like 7:30. That gave us time to check in and have dinner and walk around the hotel. After that I helped my friend set up her booth at that dealers room then after that we all went back to the room to hang out n goof off. Friday was a pretty good day. I went to a video game booth called Video Games New York. I have seen them at FanExpo and I always wanted to see what stuff they had. They have a lot of rare games and classic games as well. I manage to find Sonic Advance 2 because I had it and I think my little cousin lost it. It didn’t cost that much to replace it either. I also grab some SNES controllers they were selling for 10 bucks. So now I can play my SNES again with some good controllers. Later that night we all had dinner at the same bar (oh I forgot to mention that the bar is called Volt). We had some really nice food and some drinks and hung out with some friends we made at the con. Saturday had to be one of the best days there. I got up pretty early like around 11. My friend came to meet me in the room and we were trying to find out were Reuben Langdon was signing. (He is the Voice of Dante in Devil May Cry 3, 4 and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 also the stunt coordinator and motion capture for Chris Redfield in RE5.) We were kinda lost and I was hungry so my friend took me 42 Degrees restaurant for some breakfast. The food there was really awesome and filling. Had me some OJ, bacon, eggs and some fruit. Anyway my friend Trisha called us and told us were she found out were he was signing and we both raced there. We made it just in time and I finally got to meet him. He is a real cool dude and very funny too. He signed my copy of Devil May Cry 4 and my Special Edition of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and we took a photo together. (I will post it today). Later that day I ran into my friend Damon and we headed back to my room to play some MVC3. He though me some tricks that I didn’t even know and it really helped out when I joined the tournament later that night. I didn’t make it too far but at least I won agents someone. After all that I finally ate again because I was running on empty. I had a few glasses of Gin and Ginger Ale and I had a burger. As soon as I got back to the room I passed out from that super long day. The final day was pretty cool. I got a lot of photos of some cool cosplays and got some final purches on some things I wanted in the dealers room. Outside of the con me and my buddy Richard went out and stocked up on a lot soda that we don’t get here in Canada. I got some cherry coke and sierra mist. I swear sierra mist is the citrus drinks of the gods. It beats 7up and Sprite hands down. Anyway the con came to a close. I helped Trisha put her stuff back in the van and we all headed back to Canada. That was pretty much my time in Youmacon and I will be going again next year.

Back from FanExpo 2011

Hey everyone. Well I am back from the 4 days of FanExpo. Gotta say I am not used to a 4 day convention. Still recovering a little bit. Well Tru Vibes Track 2 sold pretty well and I’m happy the people enjoyed the book. I was seated next to at Sara Richard the con and she told me it was her first time attending to FanExpo. She is a really cool person and her art is super awesome amazing. I had fun chatting with her and she gave some pretty damn good advice. Also to my left was the awesome Marc Wolfe. At first I was a little intimidated but he is a real nice guy and he is pretty damn hilarious. Sitting across from was Kurt Lehner. He has worked on Ned’s Newt, Cadillac’s and Dinosaurs and Gargoyles. That dude was super funny and easy to talk to and also gave me some really good advise on my art. He also inspired me to start a portfolio. I never really did one like I did one during school but it didn’t look as good as I want it to. I plan on starting a portfolio and get it done by the end of the year. I gotta say I have learned a lot at this convention and I do plan on doing a lot more art work for next year. I have also learned that people will come to your table more when you have your original art out on the table. I also met Alvin Lee and we mostly talked about MVC3 lol. He told me he played some of his fans and they schooled him and I mean really schooled him. We had a good laugh about it and he signed my Special Edition MVC3 case. I also headed to the Udon table to chat with Omar Dogan. I haven’t spoken to him in a long time. We caught up with some stuff and conversed about a few things. I bought 2 prints off him that look damn good. I think what was really cool was that Omar stopped by my table, I thought that was pretty damn cool. One of the highlight of the weekend was that I ran into a really good friend of mine Christina Dee who I went to high school with. Me and her would skip class to draw. Was so awesome to know that she was still drawing and she has gotten so much better since the last time I saw her. I also met up with my old convention friends at Wicked Works Studios. Everytime we all chill it’s always a riot. Geo and I are planning on making a God Of War Spoof one day about me making coffee, God of War style. I’m looking forward to that!! Also my good friend Aaron Ong had a table for a story that he is working on called Pheonix Diaries and he the poster he did for it was friggin amazing! Me and him hang out as well to chatted a whole lot about everything.

Well That was pretty much what happen at FanExpo2011 and I hope I can do better next year. Oh and I will get to updating this website pretty soon.

Hey y’all! It’s been awhile since I updated anything on the internet so I might as well fill you people in on whats going on. For starters Tru Vibes Track 2 is completed. All the comic pages are inked, toned and lettered. I got word from printers from Vancouver and they said they are sending it Today on express and should be here by Monday or Tuesday so I have to go get some comic bags so I can put them in and make it look presentable to everyone at the show. I will take photos of all the stuff I will be selling at FanExpo this year and post it on my site. I will also add the the covers of Tru Vibes Track 2 drawn by me and my good friend Starxade on Deviant Art and I will also add stuff from the first book. I am not all the good at promoting on what I work on so please forgive me. I really need to work on that so I can get more sales on this book and also get people to come to this site a lot. I need more hits lol.

No for today. It was a very exciting day. My good friend Kurtis lent me DJ Hero a few days back. I had to be honest I really didn’t want to play it because I am not a huge huge fan of music games. . until now. When I started playing DJ Hero 1 I played the tutorial and everything was pretty straight forward. I did suck it up for the first few songs on that game. Then days later I kept playing it and I really got the hang of it. Then I started to love the game because the music is so god damn awesome and I am actually dancing in my seat while I playing the game. So I decided that I would buy DJ Hero 2 with the turn table then buy the first game buy itself. So today at work my boss wanted to go to Best Buy today before he went home. So I decided to go with him. When I got there I asked how much DJ Hero 2 was. I was told that it was 89.99CAD with the game and turn table. So I was like “Yeah that’s what I thought.” So my plan was to get it around my birthday, since my mom always hounds me on what I want and I usually never know. So my boss asked if I wanted to stop by EB Games and I was like sure. So I we went and looked around. I asked the store clerk that how much are they selling DJ Hero 2 with turn table. He looked it up and said it was 49.99. So I kinda didn’t believe him and said, “yeah that’s for just the turn table right?” and he replied “nope game and turn table.” So since I was stunned by that price all i can was “ring it up” So now I have DJ Hero 2 on PS3 so any who wants to play with just let me know. I was told by the store clerk that the CEO of Activision said that they are canceling most of there major brands. So they are stopping DJ Hero, Guitar Hero and the Tony Hawk series. I dunno if this is true but if anyone knows for real share with me the info.

Anyway as you all know I am posting a little more now and I hope all you guys enjoy the new works I am posting and the comic is coming soon.

Okay well I am going back to work on some more art hope everyone is doin ok and I would like to that all the people who still support me. I am really glad and happy who are still behind me up to this day, I’m grateful

One last thing. I want to share some artist that I think you should start keepin an eye out.

Whitefox89: This girl is really talented and works really hard on her art work. Her coloring is very lovely fluent and her style is extremely cute. She is also doing commissions right now and I already commissioned her because I am a fan of her art. So go check her out.

LuvWyer: Love this guys work. His sketch work is friggin amazing. He is working on a comic called Dyna Girl. Go check it out I am sure you will find something you like.

Scamwich: His art is just stunning. He loves drawing girls and he draws them really well. He was out of DA for a few years and now he is back with brand new art so go check him out as well.

Hello everyone. I know it`s been awhile since I posted something here. Been mad busy with the comic. Good news though. I finished drawing it out I`m just inking it right now. I really hope when it`s done people will enjoy the second story. For the past few weeks I have been to a few cons here in Toronto and I shall explain them to you

Toronto Wizard Con

Ok this was my first time attending to this convention because a few of my friend went last year and I found out last minute. I had to say for a small con it was pretty cool. I think it was meant more for artist ally than anything because that section was really huge. I met one of Udon`s awesome artist Eric Vedder. The dude is a real nice guy. Was a little scared to talk to him but after breaking the ice we had a an awesome conversation. I asked him if he could do a Jessie commission for me and he did. It came out really awesome. I will scan it by the end of today and show it to you all here. After that I went to the venders and got a lot of t-shirts. I got 1 Marvel Super Heroes hoodie and 2 Marvel vs. Capcom t-shirts and 1 Street Fighter t-shirt. I also went to Alvin Lee`s table. Dude`s a real awesome guy. I was a little upset that I forgot my Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Special Edition game at home because I wanted him to sign it. We talk about MVC3 for a bit and told me his thoughts about the game and him doing some art work for it. After that I met Greg Horn. Dude is a super funny and talented guy. My friends and I were so blown away from his artwork. He is really amazing. Thats pretty much all what happen at the Toronto Wizard Con. I might go back again next year

Toronto ComiCON Fan Appreciation Event

This one I went to recently this past Sunday. I had to say the coolest part about this convention that it was for free. There was a lot of venders and artist at the artist ally. I met up with Eric Vedder again to say whats up We chatted for a bit and talk about Capcom should make another Darkstalkers game. I also spent over 100 bucks on art books because I haven`t bought books for myself in a long time. I also met these 2 guys who has there own comic book and they are on there 3 book right now. They have a DA account you can find them here at Gloooscap. There art is really cool and the colors just pop. Very talented

Thats pretty much my con adventures Oh if i get this book done on time in June I will be doing a few commissions if anyone is interested.

So yeah thats pretty much whats going on. Sorry for the lack of art It will come right after Anime North. Oh and I would like to thank you all who still comes to my page. I`m over 200,000 pages viewed so I will draw something for that this summer. Maybe some bikini stuff lol. Peace out everyone

Hello my fellow DAers, I hope all of you is well. First note I just want to say. To all the people in Japan I hope and pray for you all over there. IT is very devastating to all the homes and people and pray for the ones who survived, missing and passed on. First Haiti and now Japan. . .very very sad.

Few of my friends has been asking me about Tru Vibes Tack 2 and all I gotta say it’s slowly coming along. I am almost done penciling the whole thing after that I have to ink it and tone it in photoshop. My aunt was nice enough to give me $500 to print the second one so that was really awesome of her to do that. I really want to get this comic done before May because I will be attending Anime North. I got all the stuff to get the table I just need to make a money order and mail that package out. What I really need to do is make a photo of all the stuff I have to sell and post it on DA just so you guys know what have. Also check it out at Tru Vibes Website

Hmmmm what else. . .Oh! For those who I still owe art too I will get working on it after May and I will also open up commissions again. I got some new prices so I have to update that for the people who wants one. I am also gonna spend a lot of time updating my 36K Studios website. I wanna start getting more of my recent art in there. A few people have been complaining a little to me that I don’t do anything on there, so after Anime North will up date the site more
